Rallycross

Fun with cars… on dirt.

What is RallyCross?

RallyCross is the most widespread and readily accessible form of extreme dirt motorsport in the Sports Car Club of America, and the perfect place to see if you have what it takes to power slide your way to victory. Imagine a scaled down version of a rally stage laid out on a non-paved plot of land where the course is delineated by traffic cones instead of trees or rocks.

With lower entry fees and minimal equipment requirements, all you need is a safe hardtop vehicle and the entry fee. We usually loaner helmets and guidance for first-time competitors through class selection, tech inspection, and navigating the course. Best of all, it’s a lot of fun!

RallyCross Entry

RallyCross is simple to join – all you need is a car that passes a safety inspection. If you don’t have an approved helmet, WORSCCA often has loaners available.

When you arrive, empty your car, check in or register, and go through a tech inspection. RallyCross follows a “run/work” order, where drivers also help with event tasks. First-timers will find plenty of experienced people to guide them.

When working, you might pick up cones, assist with timing, or help on grid. Before your runs, do a parade lap, then get ready for your turn. Just roll up your windows and have fun!

Afterward, there’s usually an awards ceremony and a chance to grab dinner with new friends.
